Pft. It's the EXACT opposite in my household. All cultural studies and science aside: FACT: any human (race or gender) possesses the ability to both learn or intrinsically clean up after themselves. I understand this is editorial and a tongue in cheek journal of sorts. But seriously, it sounds sexist. If a man wrote this piece it would be sexist and toxic. I'm not at all offended at the real differences between men and women, so I don't think you ARE sexist. I guess ya gotta choose the movement and time you want to live/ write in , right? However and admittedly, I am overly sensitive to the current compulsory writing trend to reduce every topic down to gender, race, science and politics. So kudos for not getting political. Even still, I think this piece confuses and masks an event with an idea. But hey, I do feel your pain! Apologies for any critical or trolling tone. Respect and love.
