Interersting. As usual dense and illuminating. I'm also a fan of Paul Davies or at least what little I've read. My interpretation of your supporting conclusion sounds more like a personal Merton-like struggle and search for faith outside of science, through science....to which I can completely relate (albeit from a layman perspective). Is Pantheism the answer to this quandry? I'm not so convinced through your argument, but entirely agree it probably is. This is still genius. No matter my interpretation.
