Indeed you did miss it Kevin. It’s about surrender. Surender of control, the ego, the body, and all centric processes. Harry expresses this in almost a “Thomas Merton” style of contemplation I quite appreciate. Perhaps thats where you ran off the rails in your reading? Most intelligent atheist I know have surrendered something or another in their wisdom. Not that Harry’s writing needs defending let alone explanation, I just had to say that.
